Dokumentindhold

Copenhagen K.
Lille Kirkestraede I
Dear Sir,
We are very surprised of your letter of 18 July.
Concerning Jacquemon
You did not keep the engagment
to make an exhibition of Jacquemon , we paid for, in your
gallery, at the date we reserved. When we wrote a letter
( On March 7 ) asking you how many paintings we had to
send you, for the exhibition, and the size, and so on..,
you never answered. I dont think you can honestly say that’s
us who changed the plans for the show.
Concerning the provision
Now, we are really as-
tonished that a gallery like you has not for principle
to give back a provision when it did not keep its en-
gagments.
We hope it is only a misunderstanding, and will
like to finish this affair, and have our money back, as
much for the reputation of Galerie Køpcke, as for the coope-
ration of a Gallery with another one, which is generally
very correct.
Waiting to hear from you very soon, we are, Sir,
Very sincerely
La Directrice,
J. Ballanche,
