La Regina fortæller, at både han og hans far er glade for at høre, at Køpcke har åbnet galleri i København. Køpcke har sikkert hørt, at hans far har haft udstillinger i Tyskland og endnu har nogle billeder i Köln. La Regina skriver nu for at spørge, om hans far eventuelt kunne få en udstilling hos Køpcke, for det vil han gerne. For nogle dage siden modtog han Michetti-prisen. Hvis det ikke passer med oliebilleder, kan han også sende værker i tempera.

Dear Arthur,
my father and I were very glad
to receive news about your
galerie in Copenhagen. It has
really passed a long time since
we saw each other the last time.
I write in English since my
German is not too good at the
present moment.
As you have heard my father
gave some exhibits in Germany,
and he has still there, in Köln,
some oil paintings.
I'm writing you for asking if you
think that he might give an
exhibition in Copenhagen, since he
would like to.
Just a few days ago my father
won the Michetti Prize, at Francavilla.
You'd be very nice if you could
answer me and tell to what
you think about an eventual
show of my father's works in your
town. If you think that it is
not convenient to show oil paintings
he could send some temperas.
We send best wishes to you and
your family and lot of luck for
your work.
