Mr. Galerie Køpke,
Laederstraede 17,
Copenhagen.-

Rotterdam,17th February 1960.

Dear Sir,

In reply to your inquiry I am sorry to inform you that an
exhibition of the group ZERO will not be possible within
short as:

1. J. Sanders has an exhibition of all his works in
Europe now at the Stedelijk Museum of Amsterdam in March.

2. S. Tajiri has his first big one man show at the Stedelijk
at Amsterdam in April next.

3. J. Wagemaker has sent already his best works to New York
for an exhibition to be held overthere in May.

The next Zero-exhibition, will be held at the "Stedelijk
van Abbe-Museum" at Eindhoven in September or November 1960
after which the group moves to Cologn(January 1961)

2. May be, it will be possible to have an exhibition at yours
between May and October 1960. If so I shall send the works
to you by one of the ships of the Aktieselskabet Det
Østasiatiske Kompagni at yours. (I am employed with the
Rotterdam agents of this company) but the cases must be
returned IMMEDIATELY after the show. I am willing to pay
the prints when you send me the text and let me know the
number of invitations required.
When it seems that it will not be possible to send the
works free of freight I am willing to pay 50% of the
transport: the other 50% to be paid by you.

Further I draw your attention to the fact that our member

3. Emil Schumacher is contracted with the Kootz Galery of
New York so that he is not in a position to send paintings.
He will be represented by gouaches.

I should like to know how many works you can show and what
percentage you take of the sales.

With kindest regards,
Hans Sonnenberg
