Dear Sir,

I just received your letter, and wish to inform
you that during Mr. Nikolaus’s visit in Paris last July
we agreed on the project of an exhibition of JEAN CLAUDE
BEDARD, scheduled for November the 7th. I even gave
Mr. Nikolaus the amount of 15.000 francs on that purpose.

From that time on, I never got any confirmation from
you nor any news from Mr. Nikolaus though I wrote him several
times, but he never answered me. That made it impossible
for me to send you the paintings until now.

Furthermore, it would be necessary to determine
with precisions the terms and the date of that exhibition.
(Mr. Nikolaus told me that you would pay for the return
of the paintings to Paris). I should like to have the
price and all the details written before we start.
