Tues. Sept. 29th 1959.

Dear Mr. Køpcke:
I found your letters on my return from a rest at a friend's
house in the country. My wife is better in some ways
but complications - unexpected ones keep showing up! They are
minor but unsettleing - I'm distressed the pictures didn't
turn up as they were delivered to Nicolaus the 18th of Sept!!!
Also that there is no photograph on the "invitation card"!!!
Can't a photo be made, reproduced to the number of cards
to be used (there are probably not too many, but please tell me
how many. 250 - 500? Or what?) & glued on to the card - a litlle
extra work but with the help of friends it can be done very
quickly. I've done it before. As to reducing the prices I will
send you another price list - If I mark with an "asterlisk"
I mean for you to set price, getting as much as possible
of course - I'd like to make the expense of the show back
naturally plus whatever is possible - Too bad the Danes
don't care for gouache! Perhaps I've made an error -
you should have warned me before about this -

not much point in having an exhibit in a medium that's
not interesting to the potential buyer? So far this affair
seems to have started on the "wrong foot". Please let
me know when they are finally framed, matted, and
hung. I trust too the publicity will be of more
importance than the micro-scopic example which I found
dangling from your letter. I understood I would receive
copys of all printed matter, all publicity newspaper etc. and
at least 25 or 30 "invitation cards", also some photos of the
exhibit as it is shown. Our good friend LOVE YNGVE ANDERSON
the correspondante DAB "DAGBLADET" Oslo, Norway has

promised to try to drop in on my exhibit + write-up the
show and story on your Gallery. She's soon to go to
the U.S.A. but hopes to visit her mother in Denmark before
she sails -
I enclose the new price list - I hope the exhibit is a
success, for us both - Don't let the prices frighten you or any
other's who might wish to buy, as you say "Dont be SHY!!!"
Sincerely
Dickson Reeder
