Dear Sir Thank you for the
publicity and cards you sent me.
It is a pity I hadn't them before
I could have invited some people
for the vernissage and now the
painter Mortensen is gone, he
would certainly have brought
purchasers as he is a good friend -
I am sorry your check hasn't been
already paid : perhaps you didn't
understand the first letter in
French I sent you directly about it?
I told you my bank (it is a
French bank and not - Brazilian
like Joppolo's) told me it didn't
pay your check because it is not
regular not to pay by the way

of the [?] change office; your
banker should ask it once more
and present - bill - Perhaps your former
card will do, I shall insist immediately Tell your banker to
go on, the check is waiting
for him and even myself can't
take it back. - I invited
the French ambassador at Copenhagen
(who knows my family) to come to
the show, I hope he shall received
the card before the end! I would
have been very glad to be present
myself, but didn't know if after
all you were willing to do the exhibition.
I hope you liked my paintings and that
all will go on nicely. I selled a great
number of them here at my one-man show
and wish to have some luck too now -
Thank you and best regards
Raymonde Aynard
