Cremer spørger om Køpcke stadig har tre af hans billeder eller om han har solgt dem. Han beder Køpcke enten sende billederne tilbage til ham eller overføre penge, hvis han har solgt dem. Hvis Køpcke ønsker at beholde billederne i kommission, beder Cremer ham sørge for, at de bliver vist jævnligt, og at der gøres opmærksom på dem på plakater og invitationskort. Han har hørt fra Peeters, at det går Køpcke godt. Til slut beder han Køpcke om oplysninger om Hr. Donskoy og Galerie Hybler, han vil sagsøge Donskoy og vil derfor gerne have så mange oplysninger som muligt.

Dear Mr. Køpke,
I herewith request you whether you still have
my 3 paintings in your possession, or did you have already sold them?
If not, would you please be kind enough to send them
back to me!
For the event you h&ve sold them, could you please
remit the money to me?
If you should like to still keep my paintings in
consignment, then I would beg you to please exhibit them regularly
for me and to announce them on your posters and invitation-cards.
From Henk Peeters I was glad to hear that you are in
good health.
Furthermore j would kindly request you to inform me
all about Mr. Donskoy and the Hytler Galery [Galerie Hybler], as I am bringing an
action against Mr. Donskoy, so I need as many informations as possible.
